Masts up on the Leeuwin II!

The restoration of the Leeuwin II has reached another exciting milestone, with three new masts installed at SeaReady.

Fabricated at Fremantle Foundry and finished by Orontide, the masts were delivered to SeaReady and installed over three days with support from Vulcan Engineering and the Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation.

The next stage of the restoration will see the Leeuwin II undergo blasting and specialised painting by Orontide at the Australian Marine Complex (AMC), ahead of her return to Fremantle.

The tall ship is set to make her official welcome back to B Berth, Victoria Quay on Friday, 24 October.
